“There is nothing quite like the mesmerizing scent of a Tom Dixon candle ($128-$220). And the packaging is almost as fantastic as the vessel itself.”

“Abyss towels ($18-$76) are by far the softest, most absorbent luxury towels on the market. We are so excited to be carrying them exclusively in our Menlo Park store!”

“These luggage racks ($162) are easy to use, fold into almost nothing, and are clever and cute. We have lots of different designs, and we’re the only ones in the Bay Area that stock them.”

Lifestyle Story Shopping National

The ongoing construction projects at Stanford Shopping Center are beginning to bear out benefits for shoppers. Take the BOSS boutique. The clothier just moved into a 5,000-square-foot space—near Microsoft—that is more than double the size of its former location. The extra real estate allows BOSS to offer womenswear along with menswear at its Peninsula outpost. (Previously, Silicon Valley-ites looking for womenswear could only find it at Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Clara.)
“The [Palo Alto] store will carry the complete collection, including tailored clothing, sportswear, shoes, bags and eyewear,” says a company spokesperson of the designs for women. The signature BOSS Bespoke handbag—an iconic shape with a turnlock closure that takes its cue from menswear cuff links—is among the accessories now available at Stanford, and “exemplies the fusion of the organic and architectural that is fundamental to Artistic Director Jason Wu’s vision of BOSS Womenswear.” While tailored, this season’s looks have been imbued with a sense of fluidity, courtesy of details such as fringe work and pleating.
For men, the shop continues to carry its line of leather bags that are handcrafted in Italy and rely on heritage techniques, as well as its full range of apparel—from modern business attire to glamorous evening fashions—that epitomizes understated luxury.
