Tom Holland Strikes a Pose in Prada's Spring/Summer 2022 Menswear Campaign

Tom Holland is swinging to the top of the box office and the runway. The Spider-Man star has the face of a cover boy, and Prada is putting it to use.
The actor is the face of the Italian fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2022 menswear campaign.
Photographed by David Sims with Creative Direction by Ferdinando Verderi, the shoot sees Holland pose as the superhero he truly is. The idea behind the shoot was that Holland should act as he always does, but this time, he’s portraying his true self. Instead of a cape, he’s rocking a red Prada jacket, fixing his strong gaze in an white embroidered button down.
In this series of images, Holland represents the ideal Prada man; someone who is intellectual and complex, someone who expresses their vibrant personality with fine and compelling fashions.
The Spring/Summer 2022 menswear collection was designed by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simmons. It mixes familiar male silhouettes with a bit of fantastical whimsy, matching professional blazers with bucket hats, vacation-ready shorts and rompers, bright fabrics and patterns, bold stripes, and tops that look like they smell like a beach.
Chalk it up as another big win for Holland. His latest release Spider-Man: No Way Home was released in December and raked in an astounding $1.542 billion. The film, which is still playing in theaters, has already been certified as the highest-grossing film of 2021 as well as the eighth highest-grossing film of all time. A sequel is already confirmed to be in development.
The Prada Spring/Summer 2022 campaign purposely frames the star in an intimate setting, bringing us a closer portrait of the man who plays what is perhaps the most relatable of the Marvel superhero set. We may not all have superpowers or star in Prada fashion campaigns, but we can at least catch this look for ourselves.
