Although the second season of the stunning HBO hit "The White Lotus" came to a grand close, that doesn't mean the paradisal wanderlust vibes have to! This is especially true once you see Calistoga's absolutely breathtaking Castello di Amorosa, which is a massive 121,000-square foot property that makes any photo look regal.

"The White Lotus" centers on providing thought-provoking, though sometimes sardonic, commentary on wealth disparities and lavish lifestyles, and just like the Dead Kennedy's hit, "Moon Over Marin," this opulent side of the Bay can provide plenty of posh landscapes for such dynamics and conversations. Sausalito is a charming coastal town that tremendously feels like it was taken straight out of the Amalfi Coast with its serene old-world aesthetics and endless hillside houses, evoking a European seaside escape just past the Golden Gate Bridge.

The swanky vintage vibes and traditional cultural architecture of San Francisco's chic Chinatown- we can already imagine these iconic aspects of the vibrant neighborhood being fully utilized and showcased as the show's characters venture down the enthralling alleyways and dine at all of the fantastic authentic restaurants! Whether or not our vision comes true, you can still have a thrilling adventure all on your own in this storied community taking scenic photos, reveling in the rich food, and hopefully getting lucky fortunes from the original Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory.

Innovation meets indulgence- this would be our slogan if a branch of The White Lotus expanded to this sleek and stimulating tech hub on the Peninsula. The cutting-edge modernity of Palo Alto could ingeniously interact and add an interesting dynamic with the opulent magnificence of the show's vacation theme, not to mention the city's charming architecture and worldwide identity as a destination hotspot. The University of Stanford's campus embodies Roman regality with its historic sandstone towers, while neighboring Woodside showcases the palatial Filoli Estate, replete with a bucolic garden and fairytale-like courtyards.
Half Moon Bay is the Bay Area's hidden gem on the western edge of the peninsula that could easily have a feature show all on its own with its sweeping coastline, secluded forests, and absolutely grand Ritz-Carlton resort. If the show were to be set in the fall, Half Moon Bay's incredible Pumpkin Festival could be highlighted as well, which is a local can't-miss favorite acclaimed for their humongous record-setting gourds.
The Presidio is an ever-popular San Francisco destination on the northern end for the Walt Disney Family Museum, the artistic Woodline, and restored vintage wartime architecture. It would be beautiful to see such storied buildings be elevated on the big screen, along with neighboring sites of the glorious Palace of Fine Arts, rustic brick-Fort Point, and the swanky Pacific Heights neighborhood defined by their classic Victorians.
Whether or not our dream of "The White Lotus" comes to the San Francisco Bay Area, these photogenic gems are still award-winning all on their own! Now we're wondering who you think the next cast will be!
