Up in the Air

JetSuiteX makes it easier than ever to enjoy the perks of private air travel without the high price tag.

In October, the new public charter service introduced two routes: San Jose to Burbank and to Carlsbad; fares start at $129 and $499 each way, respectively. “Connecting Silicon Valley and Southern California is an essential business market, with thousands of people flying between San Jose and Los Angeles and San Diego counties every day for both business and pleasure,” says CEO Alex Wilcox. Since JetSuiteX operates out of private jet terminals, the overall travel time can be cut in half, he adds.

The company’s fleet includes four-, six- and 30-seat jets, with legroom that is comparable to a domestic airline’s business class. Other benefits include power outlets, Wi-Fi, gourmet snacks and beverages. December through April, JetSuiteX will also offer seasonal service to and from San Jose and Bozeman, Mont., from $625.
