While its championship golf courses, rejuvenating spa and coastal perch are reason enough to book a stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, here’s another: The resort’s inaugural Global Cuisine Series continues through the end of the year, featuring top toques—each with their own culinary perspective on foods from around the world.
For one weekend a month, the chefs will lead a hands-on cooking class, followed by a luncheon that includes a wine pairing. The hotel package, which starts at $950 per night, is limited to 14 guests per session.
For the remainder of 2017, the visiting chefs are Evan and Sarah Rich of Rich Table (Sept. 23 to 24), Manish Tyagi of August 1 Five (Oct. 28 to 29), Gerald Hirigoyen of Piperade (Nov. 18 to 19) and William Werner of Craftsman and Wolves (Dec. 16 to 17). To reserve a spot, call 650.712.7686. 1 Miramonte Point Road.
