Liberty Fabrics and Anthropologie are partnering on a home goods range, launching Aug. 24. Priced from $14 to $5,998, it is nearly two years in the making. “We wanted to create a collection that would resonate with all of our customers, whether their tastes leaned more toward modern or traditional,” says Andrew Carnie, president of Anthropologie Home, Garden & Europe. “The breadth of Anthropologie’s home offering made that an easy goal, especially with Liberty’s openness to sharing such a great number of prints and to our manipulation of them through re-scaling and recoloring.”
Eighteen prints—iconic motifs as well as lesser-known ones—have been to applied to more than 40 products, among them fine porcelain, bedding and kitchenware. The line also marks the first time that the storied British brand’s patterns will be featured on upholstered furniture in the U.S. e collaboration will be available in Anthropologie & Co. stores, as well as on the retailer’s website.
