The Lee Jofa showroom at the Galleria Design Center carries Cole & Son wares.
Imagine strolling through Venice’s grand Procuratie to discover primates playing on its classical arches and ornate balustrades. It’s a surreal scene to envision, especially since the Napoleonic architectural wonder overlooking the Piazza San Marco is currently undergoing a major renovation by architect David Chipperfield. But believe this with your own eyes: This season, the fantasy plays out on wallpaper. Originally drawn in intaglio style by Italian artist Piero Fornasetti, the third collaboration from British wallpaper brand Cole & Son and the estate of the late surrealist has the mischievous monkeys jumping across surfaces far beyond the sinking city. Procuratie con Vista wallpaper in Soot and Snow, $316 per roll, Lee Jofa, San Francisco, leejofa.com
