Maria Pinto Pop-up Shop

| October 10, 2016 | Parties

Famed Fashion Designer Maria Pinto set up a pop-up shop shopping event at Stanford Park Hotel in Menlo Park on Oct. 1 to benefit the American Heart Association Silicon Valley. Hosted by Anita del Grande and Marie LoPresto, co-founders of the Circle of Red/Go Red For Women in Silicon Valley, guests of the group shopped Maria’s new label, M2057, a collection of edgy classics, including chic dresses and jackets and basics done in fresh silhouettes. The Chicago-based designer has long been favorite of First Lady Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey and a few of her pieces were worn on the hit show, “Empire.”

Go Red For Women champions initiatives that will help women lead healthier lives, free of heart disease. Every 80 seconds a woman dies of a heart attack and stroke and 80 percent may be prevented with lifestyle changes.
