Makers Market was founded on the idea of preserving American made goods. Before the Industrial Revolution, America was mainly comprised of artisans. We were makers, thinkers, and tinkerers. Mass production weakened our creativity and Makers Market is pioneering the return of the maker movement in America.
Every 2nd Saturday of the month, there is an outdoor market in the courtyard outside of the shop. The first outdoor market coincided with the grand opening.
