The Ritz-Carlton boasts plenty of attractions on-site and in the resort’s vicinity.
Hotel guests can explore Half Moon Bay in a Tesla Model S.
The stretch of Highway 1 that leads to the Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, is considered one of the most scenic in the state. And what better way to navigate the area’s roads than in the Tesla Model S? With the hotel’s Tesla Driving Experience, available through Aug. 31, you can do just that. The package includes oceanview accommodations, use of a Model S for the duration of your stay and daily breakfast for two at Navio restaurant. “One of the Ritz-Carlton pillars is to drive innovation and, being in the heart of the Silicon Valley, it was a natural fit to provide our guests with a connection to a brand like Tesla that is also striving to innovate and change the world,” says Joel Costa, the Ritz-Carlton’s director of sales and marketing.
While the Model S allows for exploration of the coastline and charming town of Half Moon Bay in style—the electric vehicle has a range of 270 miles— there are plenty of attractions at the resort itself. Among them are two championship golf courses and a spa that offers various facial, body and massage treatments, as well as a full-service salon. If your getaway involves little ones, ask about the VIK program, a highlight of which is a scavenger hunt around the resort.
