Alexander’s Steakhouse

Amber India
Amber India restaurants in Los Altos, San Jose’s Santana Row and San Francisco are offering takeout and delivery, with menus online and takeout and delivery options from DoorDash. Butter chicken, Amber’s signature dish ($23), gluten-free vegetarian entrees ($15-$18) and samosas ($8) are among the many menu options. 5-9pm, view menu and order at amber-india.com

LOS GATOS

Manresa
A three-Michelin-starred restaurant offering takeout? Yes, Manresa is offering a Family Meal to Go. A limited menu is offered (such as Liberty Farms duck breast with farro, artichoke and sunflower seeds, brussels sprouts, dinner rolls and spiced apple cake—and a vegetarian option of whole roasted head of cauliflower) along with the option of adding a bottle of wine, Champagne or beer with special pricing, for about $35-$59 per person. Menus are posted one evening in advance on the restaurant’s Instagram @manresafamilymeal. Bottles of wine (some with special pricing) are also available for order. Manresa Bread
2019 James Beard Foundation Award Outstanding Baker Nominee Avery Ruzicka has fired up the ovens and is offering bread, pastries, local farm CSA boxes, three varieties of flour, wine, coffee and more for pre-purchase at the commissary, with pick-up in the parking area in the back Fri.-Sun., 2pm-4pm (pick-up date varies depending on the menu item). The Bywater
You can order online from The Bywater’s small, weekly changing menu of New Orleans-inspired savory items (e.g., fried chicken, biscuits and honey butter for two, $30), plus cocktails, beer and a long list of selections from the wine cellar, and the restaurant will bring the order straight to your trunk. Flea Street Cafe
Flea Street’s new dining-to-go program began March 17. Among the menu options: Local farms & Flea Street garden salad of baby lettuces, carrot, radish, asparagus, arugula blossoms, nasturtium and house vinaigrette ($16), halibut cheeks piccata with red potato, broccoli, shallot, capers, butter, white wine and lemon ($40), citrus olive oil cake with tangelos and creme fraiche ($13) and even Martin’s buttermilk biscuits (frozen, bake at home, $22). Left Bank restaurant offers food orders via DoorDash for delivery or customer pickup. Bottles of wine are offered at a 30% discount for pick-up in store.
