Carnegie Arts Center Designer Show House

| April 23, 2018 | Parties

The Carnegie Arts Center Designer Show House opened April 21. Twenty interior and garden designers revealed the redecoration of the historic Olson family home at a gala opening on April 20th. The house will be open to the public daily through May 6th. Visitors are invited to visit the historic home which has been redesigned by some of the regions’ top Interior Designers and Landscape Architects.

The project is focused on a discerning audience of visitors, including out of town attendees, members of the local community and interior design enthusiasts. All proceeds will benefit the Carnegie Arts Center, Turlock. This home has a unique history. Built in 1939 for the Olson family, it served as a doctor’s residence and offices. The current homeowners want to preserve the history and traditional character of the home, while updating it to reflect their interest in design and healthy living. They would like to create an environmentally-conscious home incorporating sustainable design elements and green materials wherever possible.
