Just in time for summer, we’ve rounded up the best margaritas in Silicon Valley.
Cholita Linda is a hot spot committed to providing traditional and authentically curated flavors straight from Latin America. The one and only Cholita Margarita is the perfect match for any Latin dish you may choose. If you’re up for it, add a little spice with tajin around the rim to kick it up a notch.
Founded by Oaxacan native Adolfo Gomez in 2008, Mezcal offers a wide array of margaritas that are sure to delight. Mezcal won't disappoint with choices like the Mezcalrita made with tequila naranja liqueur, lime and agave or the jalapeno margarita infused charred jalapeno tequila, lime and salt.
Estrellita offers a relaxing indoor-outdoor atmosphere that makes for the perfect setting to sit and sip a while. Try the signature Margarita Estrellita conjured up with Sauza gold tequila and triple sec or settle on the sweeter side with the pomegranate margarita made with tequila and 100% pomegranate juice.
Hip and atmospheric, El Jardin puts a modern spin on traditional Mexican street foods and drinks. Boasting an extensive menu that changes from weekend to weekday, the margs remain staples. From the spicy margarita to the sweet tropical margarita, El Jardin promises boutique cocktails as unique as its ambience.
Nestled in historic San Pedro Square in San Jose, Olla Cocina boasts a naturally lit private dining room leading out to the airy outdoor patio to soak in the summer sunshine. Don’t miss out on the exclusive Olla margarita made with the tequila blanco of your choice, orange liqueur, lime and agave for a flavorful experience.
Stop by Reposado for an authentic, high-end Mexican dining experience. Munch on housemade corn tortilla chips and guacamole paired with a choice of margarita flavors—think mango, strawberry or guava—or simply sip on the classic reposado traditional margarita.
Don’t miss out on both the frozen and on-the-rock versions of LUNA's signature Lunarita, or maybe take a risk with the spicy mango habanero Lunarita made with spicy habanero and a tajin rim.
Founded in 1987, this family-owned restaurant is renowned for its food, and their marg selection does not disappoint. Try intriguing bevs like a Cowboy margarita (Jack Daniels, Tequila El Jimador, triple sec, and sweet and sour), a Pink Cactus margarita (1800 Silver tequila, agave nectar, fresh lime juice and a splash of cranberry juice) or keep it simple with a House Margarita.
Looks aren’t everything, but there’s no denying Zona Rosa pours a beautiful marg. Available by the glass, pitcher and even to go, get them for just $8 during Fiesta Hour (3-5 p.m. Tues-Fri). The Instaworthy margaritas are the perfect accompaniment to the food menu, serving dinner, brunch and small bites.
For the unconventional margarita fanatic, Aqui is a must-try. The resto's signature Industrial Swirls are delicious frozen cocktails blended with the house Industrial Strength margarita. Examples include a sangria-margarita swirl and even a Modelo-margarita swirl. If you can’t pick just one, these unique sips also come in flights of three.
