The third time’s a charm for Bay Area beauty buffs. This spring, French fashion house Dior unveiled a sweet-smelling Santa Clara boutique dedicated solely to its beauty offerings—only the third such stand-alone store in the country and the largest outpost to date. The 1,400-square-foot space showcases the brand’s full makeup, fragrance and skincare collections, as well as multiple makeup stations and a custom lip bar. In back, Dior Institut-certified estheticians perform facial treatments in the private Dior Cabine spa room, where a contoured massage bed has an electronically controlled temperature system. The 45-minute service—which is complimentary with any skincare purchase—includes a skincare consultation; the Dior Silver or Gold Method L’Or de Vie Facial or L’Or de Vie La Cure Facial; and a 15-minute back and shoulder massage.
