Opened in 2016, Voyager's goal is to introduce new and unique coffee flavors to its customers in a cozy setting. They just released their new spring and summer menu of drinks aside from the traditional coffee, latte and cappuccino options. New menu item Manila can be served hot or cold and consisting of ube, mango, brown sugar, vanilla and coconut cream. Multiple locations
Relax after a morning walk at Paper Moon and enjoy a fresh ham and cheddar melt with a hot cup of their 1 & 1—a double shot split of espresso and macchiato. Paper Moon has been in business for 15 years now and takes pride in their customers and their community. They host monthly events, showcase local artists and provide affordable housing for coffee professionals with their non-profit business Coffee Housing. Multiple locations
Voltaire offers indoor and outdoor seating, and serves locally sourced coffee from roasters from Ethiopia, Kenya, Indonesia and El Salvador. Coffee sourced from Ethiopia has notes of jasmine, candied lemon and toffee. The Kenyan coffee has a sweeter flavor with hints of pineapple, brown sugar, vanilla and bergamot. Founders Ryan O'Donovan and Colby Barr opened Verve in 2007 with a passion for serving their community the best locally sourced products. They sell bags of coffee beans, instant coffee packs and nitro cold brew cans. Verve also just released new coffee flavors consisting of pink pineapple and papaya from Papua New Guinea, cranberry and lilac from Ethiopia, blood orange and blackberry preserves from Burundi and lemondrop, butterscotch and vanilla from El Salvador. Decorated with wooden frames, glass tile backsplash and the warm colors of the shop, Bitter + Sweet has a cozy feeling where customers can find a quiet place to study or a relaxing area to chat with friends, family or colleagues over a cup of coffee and a warm pastry. The coffee shop opened in 2011, but in 2017, ownership was taken over by a current employee, putting his own twist into the space and the menu.
