So, you’re spending a weekend in Napa, and you’ve got your trips to the wineries all planned out—but what about brunch?
With stunning views, good wine and incredible food, Napa is the perfect getaway for a Bay Area staycation. There isn’t a bad choice to make when it comes to wining and dining. The quaint city is rife with beautiful rolling hills and culinary experiences galore, and to help round out your experience, we're sharing our seven favorite brunch menus you simply can’t miss.

Located in the Four Seasons hotel, there is nothing lazy about the “Lazy Brunch” at Truss. Instantly transport yourself to the lap of luxury with the iconic Bubbles and Pearls combo—a half dozen oysters paired with a bottle of sparkling wine. Like many Napa establishments, brunch at Truss is reserved for Sundays. If you’re at Truss strictly for the food, try the elevated avocado toast, the berry french toast, or branch out with one of the tavern-style brunch pizzas.

Do you like green eggs and ham? Boon Fly Cafe and its patrons sure do! Enjoy a delicious, classic breakfast smothered in a zesty leek and lemon cream sauce. Or if you're more of a sweet tooth, Boon Fly's famous donuts — served in a cute bucket and topped with a decadent chocolate sauce — are nearly famous among Boon Fly fans. Other featured items on the brunch menu are the chicken and waffle, corned beef hash and Kobe burger.

Just a short drive outside of Napa proper, this bakery should already be on your list of stops for your trip. When you need a pick-me-up between wine tastings or don’t have enough time to do a full sit-down brunch, Bouchon’s fluffy and buttery croissants, handcrafted tarts and sandwiches on crispy French baguettes are great choices, and the atmosphere is so charming. Pair your baked goods of choice with a delicious latte or other handcrafted coffee beverage, and you will be right and ready to head to your next wine tasting.

Inspired by dishes from France, Italy and the Americas, Grace’s Table invites guests to experience comfort food from all over the world right in the heart of Napa. This downtown favorite is headed by chef Mauro Pando, who opened Grace’s Table as a place dedicated to celebrating the rich and diverse flavors of the world in which we live—which explains the eclectic menu items, like pulled pork and egg tacos, shrimp and grits, and Argentine empanadas. With over 1,000 5-star reviews on Yelp, people are raving about the iron skillet cornbread and chilaquiles.

Brunch remains a Sunday-only affair at this beyond-ambient restaurant, situated in an adorable farmhouse, but you can enjoy fresh oysters, delicious wine and a stunning lobster roll any day of the week. If you’re in the market for all of the bells and whistles of brunch, though, it is worth holding out for the Sunday fare. This place is famed in Napa for its Bloody Mary and offers delicious menu items, including a seasonal hash made of eggs, garden-grown veggies and the barbecue of the day, classic steak and eggs, and for the sweet breakfast lovers, puffy beignets served with bourbon-caramel dipping sauce.

A local favorite and family-friendly spot in Napa, Kitchen Door is the unconventional brunch of your dreams. Chef and co-founder Todd Humphries left no flavor behind when he crafted a menu with cheesy, bubbling brunch pizza and deliciously fragrant breakfast phở. The Yelp reviews rave about the pancakes, which are stuffed with ham and cheese, for an exciting take on the brunch classic, the croque madame. This spot also boasts a full bar and serves up classic brunch cocktails like Bloody Marys, alongside specialty cocktails like the AT’a Girrrll!! made from cucumber-infused vodka, ginger liqueur, chinola rosemary syrup, lime and Fever Tree Yuzu Lime soda.

La Cheve is a newer restaurant established in 2020, and owned by a local Mexican family. The delicious brunch spot also doubles as a bakery and a craft beer taproom. It's known for its conchas, flan French toast, and rotating house brews and mimosa flights. The eatery lives in an Old Adobe House that is actually one of the oldest buildings in the city, with a dog-friendly patio!
No matter where you choose to dine and drink in Napa, you can’t go wrong. Whether you prefer a more classic array of brunch items or fusion items infused with culture, foodies and wine fanatics alike will fall in love with the food paradise of Napa.
