Nothing says community like a food festival, and Bay Area food blogger Bizerkeley Vegan is brining to bring the community together with the inaugural Bizerkeley Food Festival.
The event will take place at Sports Basement Berkeley in the outdoor parking lot, and guests can expect dozens of vegan food vendors from across California. A variety cultural foods, like Soul, Filipino, Latinx and more will be showcased.
Aside from vegan dishes, there will be live entertainment, guest speakers and shopping on the bill as well. And for the adults, check out the wine and hard kombucha tastings.
More than just bringing the community together, Bizerkeley Vegan founder Erika Hazel wants to support local causes. Because Hazel is passionate about veganism and views it as a way of improving the lives of animals, there will be a silent auction at the festival from which 100% of the proceeds will go toward Friends of Berkeley Animal Care Services.
