Jenni Kayne—the California designer known for her laid-back yet luxe apparel and footwear—is expanding her in-house label. Handbags ($475 to $525) in suede-lined black and natural vachetta leather will soon be available in her eponymous stores.

“I am thrilled to debut a leather handbag collection for fall 2017, which feels like a natural extension of our classic leather mules and d’Orsay flats,” says Kayne. “The assortment is handcrafted in Italy and inspired by iconic vintage handbags and my love of horseback riding. The bags feature subtle and luxurious equestrian design details including brass hardware, leather-wrapped rope trim and a magnetic closure.”

Later this year, in time for the holidays, Kayne is launching her first home and lifestyle collection, comprised of 30 products, including sumptuous alpaca blankets, washed linen pillows and candles poured into ceramic vessels.
