Here’s another reason to look forward to bedtime: Lifestyle brand Hanna Andersson and its supercomfy jammies land at Stanford Shopping Center in April. According to CEO Joelle Maher, the company has long had its eye on a retail location here. “We already have a strong customer base in the market and appreciate the Bay Area community,” she says, pointing to Hanna’s organic products and sustainability as part of its appeal.
While it may be best known for its premium childrenswear—particularly its short and long johns, and girls’ dresses—adult clothing is also part of the label’s offerings. “Our most popular collections will be available [at Stanford],” Maher continues, “with a focus on sleep, play and baby.” To that end, the 2,055-square-foot venue will carry the full assortment of baby merchandise, along with sleepwear in seasonal prints and bold stripes. Additionally, a community gathering space has been carved out in the center of the store.
